The jewellery adorned on the Hindu Idols Palm is known as Hastham. The ornament decorated on the feet is called Patha or Pattham.
Gold or silver metal is used. Or many the Hastha Paatham is adorned with precious and semi precious stones. Most times these are made of metal and given a fine gold polish.

During special festival days elaborate decorated Patham and Hastham are used. Even diamonds and other precious gems are used. Kemp stones or Kucha Kal( Indian Ruby) stones are also popularly used.
